Terms of Service
Last updated 11 August 2026
Who this is between
These terms are between Strata Software Group, which operates Hunt Time, and you — either as a member using the app, or as the club that pays for it. Using the app means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a club, you are saying you are allowed to.
You must be at least 13 to have an account.
Hunt Time is not a safety system
Read this one properly. The board tells you what members have booked. It does not tell you who is in the woods.
A stand showing OPEN means nobody reserved it in the app. It does not mean the stand is empty. Somebody may not have booked, may not have checked in, may be a guest, a neighbour, a trespasser, or somebody whose phone was dead. Auto check-out and window expiry release stands on time and on assumptions, and both can be wrong about where a person actually is.
- Identify your target and what is beyond it. Every time.
- Follow your club’s rules and your state’s hunting laws. They govern; this app does not.
- Do not treat an app screen as confirmation that a direction is safe to shoot in.
Hunt Time is a scheduling tool. Responsibility for safe hunting rests with you and your club, and nothing in this app moves it.
Accounts
Your account is your phone number, and anyone who can receive texts at that number can sign in. Keep your phone locked. If you lose it, use Sign out on all devices in My Club, and change your number with your carrier if it is gone for good.
Owners can add members by phone number, which creates an account for that person before they open the app. If you are an owner doing this, only add numbers of people who are actually in your club and who expect to be added. If you were added and did not want to be, ask the owner to remove you or contact us.
Clubs, and what an owner controls
A club owner sets the hunt windows, booking limits, stands and fields, and decides who is a member. They can remove a member, which releases any stands that member is holding, and they can clear somebody off a stand.
Disputes inside a club are the club’s to settle. We will not adjudicate who should have got a stand, and we will not remove or reinstate a member at the request of anyone but that club’s owner.
The content a club puts in — stand names, notes, member names, guest names — belongs to the club. You are responsible for having the right to enter it, particularly for guests.
Paying
Camp is free. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, per club, and the price is whatever is shown when you buy. Members never pay anything — only the club has a plan.
Plans are bought in the iOS app and billed through your Apple ID. They renew automatically until cancelled, and cancelling happens in iOS Settings — not by asking us, because Apple does not give us that switch. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases under their own policy.
If a payment lapses, your club keeps working and we will tell you. We do not lock a club out of its own board mid-season over a card that expired. If you cancel, you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Prices can change, but not mid-term. We will give notice before a renewal at a new price so you can decide.
Text messages
We text a six-digit code when you sign in, and that is the only thing we send. No marketing. Standard message rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out of messages — bear in mind that doing so means you can no longer sign in, since the code is how you get in.
Things not to do
- Guess at club codes, or join a club you were not invited to.
- Try to reach another club’s data, or to get around the limits of your plan.
- Add phone numbers belonging to people who are not in your club.
- Automate, scrape, or hammer the API. There are rate limits and we will enforce them.
We can suspend an account or a club that does these things. If we do, we will say why.
Availability
We will keep this running as well as we can, and we do not promise it will never be down. Opening morning is the worst possible time for an outage and it is the time we watch hardest. Have a fallback for how your club communicates if the app is unavailable.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Strata Software Group is not liable for injury, property damage, lost hunts, or disputes between members arising from use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what your club paid us in the twelve months before it.
Some states do not allow limits like these, in which case they apply to you only as far as that state permits.
The app is provided as-is. We make no warranty that it is fit for any particular purpose, and specifically none that it makes hunting safe.
Ending it
You can stop using Hunt Time whenever you like, and delete your account from inside the app (My Club → Delete account) or by asking us. A club can cancel its plan and drop to Camp or stop altogether. We can end this agreement if a club breaks these terms or stops paying, with notice and with a chance to export.
If you got the app from the App Store
This agreement is between you and Strata Software Group, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for it — including any claim about product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, intellectual-property infringement, or a failure to conform to a warranty. If the app ever fails to meet a warranty, Apple’s only obligation is to refund what you paid Apple for it, if anything.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and may enforce them against you as such. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Your licence to the app is non-transferable, for use on Apple devices you own or control, and subject to the App Store’s usage rules.
The rest
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we change these terms materially we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
