How it works
One person sets the club up. Everybody else downloads the app and types a code. From then on the board keeps itself right.
1. You set the club up once
Download the app, create an account, and choose Start a club. You name the club and put the crosshair on your property. That pin sets the club’s time zone and the sunrise and sunset your hunt windows follow, and it makes you the owner.
Then you add your fields and drop a pin for each stand on satellite imagery of your ground. Stands sit under the field they belong to, which is how members find them at 5 AM.
2. You text your members a code
Every club has a short join code and a QR code under My Club. Send the code in a group text, or let members scan the QR in the yard.
A member downloads the app, signs in with Apple, Google, or an email and password, and types the code. They pick the name the rest of the club will see on the board. There is no per-member setup for you to do.
3. Members book a stand
A member opens the board, picks a morning or an evening, and claims an open stand. You decide how far ahead members can book, how many stands one member can hold at once, and the hour claims open, so nobody gets a head start on the weekend.
If two members tap the same stand in the same second, the database lets exactly one through and tells the other who got it. Guests ride on the member who brought them, which is the record insurance asks for.
4. They check in when they get there
Every stand on the board shows one of three states. Open means nobody has it. Booked means it is spoken for but empty. Taken means somebody is on it right now.
Each state has a word and a shape as well as a colour, so the board reads the same for the one hunter in twelve who is red-green colour blind. A booked stand that nobody checks into frees itself after the grace period you set, so a no-show never blocks a member who showed up.
5. The stand frees itself when they leave
If you turn on auto check-out, each member’s phone watches one boundary around the property and checks them out when they cross it. It never reports where they are. It only reports that they left.
If a member keeps location off, their stand still frees up when the hunt window closes plus the grace buffer. Either way the board is right for the next hunt without anybody remembering a button.
After the hunt, harvests and photos go in the camp gallery, and the club keeps a record of every stand and how it came free.
